Scope:
The project scope encompasses working with the designated IT personnel and key business users to accomplish
the following:
Develop a community-based webpage. The community would like to include the follow items on the
webpage.
o Community communication plan
o Documents that might be of interest to the community (flood mitigation planning)
o Announcements
o Actions
o Meetings
Students must be able to train designated resident volunteers in updates and maintenance of the webpage
Must be able to complete a one page instructional document to help the community to update the site
Onsite work is not required, but optional; virtual biweekly meetings are needed
Approximately 10 hours per student required weekly
Please present the website progress at the end of the semester to EPA and the community
- Project specific skills (cybersecurity, data analytics, Java programming,
- Proficiency in website design
- Would prefer the student have designed or assisted in the design of government-based website
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Must be able to communicate via online platform (Zoom or Teams)
- Innovative and creative mindset
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to organize tasks into milestones and successfully execute to project completion
- Can work independently with little direct supervision
- Must be able to communicate with community leaders, nonprofit and other stakeholders efficiently

Budget:
